November 4-14, 2007> I'm going to be holding regular Darshan's to offer Work coming through. The events will range the gamut from "conventional" exhibit-like gatherings where you have the opportunity to, if thus inspired, leave with a physical object; and more multi-media installation-type events where what you receive/give, and take away is purely experiential. Some events may be improvisational; some collaborative. Here's the first one:

"Sieve"  - An Installment Offering

Available for viewing at North Bay Artworks (first studio to the right when you enter) when it is open or by appointment.

The Chen Family announces the establishment of The Joannie M. Chen Fund for Education at the International Center for Photography on what would have been Joannie's 38th birthday. Joannie was a gifted photographer and friend who helped me make my first color, sync-sound film Dildoes & Oolong in the mid-1990s when I was at NYU's intensive summer film program. She passed away in December 2006 after a two-year battle with leukemia.

July 2007> Pix of Avalon Art & Yoga Center published in Yogi Times' 5th Anniversary San Francisco edition. Avalon is a beautiful, art-filled studio (worth visiting just to see the tilework in the bathrooms) where I did my first yoga teacher's training in 2003.
